Tanzania Safari | Where and when

Doing a Tanzania Safari is by no doubt one of the best ways to spend a holiday in the most recent days. Tanzania as vacation destination has in the recent past become more and more popular the world over as visitors continue to trickle in from all corners of the world. Leave alone the traditional origins of visitors to Tanzania; the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States of America, and Italy, but Tanzania is registering visitors from far flung regions of the world including Australia, Canada and the Far East, including China, and Japan.

Tanzania safaris are mostly self promoting owing to the great attractions and world renowned wonders including the Kilimanjaro Mountain, Serengeti National Park and the Wildebeests Migration, Ngorongoro Crater, Selous Game Reserve, Lake Victoria and of course the legendary Spice Islands and islets of Zanzibar.

The mega questions has however been constantly “where in Tanzania and when?“.

Many travelers making trips to Tanzania have always been caught in the quagmire of where to visit and when to visit?. This is usually a question driven mostly by the need or intention to make the most of the time spent in a tour Tanzania while getting the best value for the trip.

Most travel guides would recommend or advise what is mostly referred to as ‘the best time to visit” which has been taken as the gospel truth for many years by many travelers especially those who would like to visit this continent that has for long been considered  as the Dark continent. The guides have been written mostly by people who have travelled to these areas but when they traveled to these areas and how long has it been since they travelled to these places is none of any ones business.

Make no Mistake … If you would like to travel to Tanzania for safari, or to climb the roof top of Africa just contact experts on the ground and I don’t mean Travel guides are wrong or bad. In any case we appreciate the fact that these same guides have been crucial in opening up this our beloved continent. What I mean is that roads have been built, lodges and tented camps have been put up, and airstrips have been set up and life will never be the same again.

What we can surely state categorically is that Tanzania Safari Can now be done All year through! To bear us witness why don’t you see the wonder full offers available for April and May of the year 2012.

Beyond Serengeti and Ngorongoro

Safaris in Tanzania – Not only a Serengeti and Ngorongoro affair. Is what a Safari in Tanzania should be, if travelers were advised properly. I don’t blame travelers anyway…

When any one in the world starts contemplating on an idea to do an African Safari in Tanzania what comes to his/he mind is visiting Serengeti National Park and the largest unbroken Caldera and Natural Zoo , The Ngorongoro Crater.

The second thing that comes to mind is  the “am I going to see Mt Kilimanjaro” mega question. Yes you might see Kilimanjaro if it is clear when you arrive in Tanzania’s northern region.

Then another thing that comes to mind is if there will be enough time to visit the Spice Island of Zanzibar. The island is Great.

Unfortunately even for most Safari experts when a traveler requests for safari in Tanzania what comes in their minds is offering the traveler a visit to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater then the rest will depend on the availability of time. This has made the two highlights of the Tanzania safari so crowded and touristic. Day by day the two major attractions of a Tanzania safari are becoming (un wild).
