See below a sample of our Family Safaris in Tanzania. It is a 14 days safari in Tanzania with a beach Extension in Zanzibar island. After a safari in northern Tanzania, families can fly to Zanzibar straight from Serengeti National Park. At Zanzibar you will enjoy a stay at the Beach for 5 days before transferring to Stone town with a visit to the Spice Plantation on the way. The last night in Zanzibar is also spent at Stonetown after a day of touring this ancient Stonetown that has been declared a world heritage site by the United Nations body UNESCO.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival day This is your arrival day in Kilimanjaro International Airport where we will pick you and transfer you to a lodge in Arusha. On this day our safari manager will meet you at the lodge to give you a short safari briefing and leave you to relax. Diner is included at the lodge for your first night. Overnight is at Mountain Village Lodge.
Incase you arrive via another airport fx Dare s salaam, or Nairobi Kenya, We shall arrange your Transfer to Arusha . From Dare s salaam we can only recommend flights. From Nairobi you can be transferred to Arusha by a scheduled Shuttle bus, Private vehicle transfer via Namanga border or flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Day 2: Lake Manyara After your first night in Tanzania, this morning we leave for the Lake Manyara National Park, some One and a half drive from Arusha. We will arrive at around 10 Am and after registration formalities at the park we enter the park for game drives until time for lunch. Lunch will be served at one of the Picnic sites in this park then continue with Game drives all afternoon. In the late afternoon we will drive to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or Kirurumu Tented Camp for dinner and over night. Family rooms are available. Hot lunch can be served at the lodge if you wish and if necessary for children.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area/ Karatu Area. 
Early in the morning if the children fancy or if some of you wishes, you will go for a game drive in the Lake Manyara National park then drive back to the lodge / tented camp for breakfast. There after a hearty breakfast at the lodge/tented camp, you will be driving to Karatu or Inside the Ngorongoro Conservation Area depending on which lodge you will be staying in. On arrival and after lunch it is time to relax at the lodge or go for a nature walk guided by a ranger or a warrior in the forests at Ngorongoro highlands. At Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge there is a swimming pool in which you can take a dip if you wish and at the plantation Lodge you can go for an afternoon guided walk around the coffee plantation. Dinner and overnight is at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge at the Crater Rim or at Plantation Lodge at Karatu area outside the Conservation Area.
Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater. The best of an African family Safari can not be complete without a visit to the Ngorongoro Crater. The world largest unbroken caldera that is also the largest natural zoo; Ngorongoro Crater is unparalleled in terms of animal concentration in the whole world. This day will spent exploring this eighth world wonder with picnic lunch served at the hippo pool side. If you are lucky you can spot all the big 5 , in one day. Later in the afternoon you will drive up the Crater rim for overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 5: Olduvai Gorge - Serengeti. After breakfast at the lodge on this day we drive on to Olduvai Gorge but first we make a brief stop at a Masai Village if you so wish. The Olduvai Gorge is the point where the hominids Australopithecus Boisei was discovered by Louis and Mary Leakey, a discovery that later led to the theory evolution and that Africa is the Cradle of mankind. We will continue on our way to Serengeti National Park via Naabi Hill Gate. We will continue with game drives all afternoon and later check in to the lodge/tented camp for dinner and overnight. You can Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or at Mapito Tented Camp if you want that “Out of Africa” feeling and if you can share tents with Children.
Day 6: Serengeti Here on this day you can go for a very early morning game drive if you wish then back to the lodge/tented camp for breakfast. After breakfast you will spend the rest of the day in the Serengeti plains doing game drives if you wish. You may choose to do a morning game drive and relax during the afternoon. Serengeti Sopa Lodge has a swimming pool where children can take an afternoon dip to coo off from the African Sun. Overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Mapito Tented Camp just outside the Ikoma Gate.
Day 7: Fly Zanzibar After breakfast you will check out of the lodge/camp and drive to the Seronera Airstrip with game drives en route. At Seronera you will take your flight to Zanzibar Island. On arrival you will be met at the Airport by driver who will transfer you to Ocean Paradise Resort. Dinner is included at the resort.
Day 8 - 11: Zanzibar beach You will spend these days at the beach resort relaxing. Here you may take on any activities offered at the beach resort where there is a diving Center at site.
Day 12 Spice Plantation Tour You will check out of the beach resort this morning and rive to Stonetown with a visit to the Spice plantation on the way. You will be offered a guided and well informative tour of the ancient plantations. Lunch will be served at the Plantation then drive in the afternoon to Stonetown. Overnight will be at Tembo House Hotel.
Day 13 Stonetown Tour After breakfast you will relax until about 10 am when we go for a guided tour of the Stonetown. This tour will offer us the rare chance to explore this ancient town and get to to see the old cathedrals and other historically important buildings in the island. These buildings include The people’s palace, House of wonders and the Old fort. Overnight at Tembo House Hotel.
Day 14: Fly Zanzibar Depending on your departure time , you will be transferred to The Airport to take your flight back home. Incase you are flying out of another airport fx Dar es Salaam or Nairobi, we can arrange your connection flight.
