The Southern Tanzania safari circuit has always been and is still regarded as the more remote safari destination in Tanzania, but that fact is changing fast don’t you think?
The southern Tanzania Circuit consists the less visited parks in the southern parts of the largest country in East Africa in land mass which by no coincidence also boasts of the fact that more than 25% of its land mass is set aside for wildlife conservation.
The parks that are in the Southern Tanzania Safari circuit includes the Ruaha National Park, Mikumi National Park ( closest real national Park to the capital Dar es Salaam), Udzungwa Mountains National Parks also referred a s the Galapagos of Africa, the Selous Game reserve and in lesser extent Katavi which mostly regarded as the Western Safari Circuit.
The Southern Safari circuit has remained un explored more probably due to over concentration on the more famous destinations in the Northern Tanzania namely Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and the smaller Tarangire, Lake Manyara National Park and Arusha National Park but also Mount Kilimanjaro.
That is set to change or at least by our opinion that has since changed since the entrance by some of the big Tourism property operators in Tanzania like Serena Lodges and now the Asilia Africa who have decided to open up the Southern Tanzania Safari Circuit quite literary.
